Our Founder
Karen M. Hurst is the founder of Help Your Child 2 Talk. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, she has spent over thirty years successfully serving children and parents in settings including Early Intervention, schools, clinics, and private practice, witnessing the power of communication to transform children’s lives. Recognizing the critical role parents play, Karen has been consistently driven to involve parents in their child’s communication journey, harnessing their unmatched power to enrich their child’s language and communication skills.
This realization led to the creation of Help Your Child 2 Talk, an online platform specifically designed to empower every family to realize their child’s full communication potential. Help Your Child 2 Talk, offers a range of services including parent inspiration, education, consultation, and coaching. These services are tailored to help parents navigate the complex world of speech, language, and communication development, providing them confidence, knowledge, strategies, resources, and tools so they can effectively support their child and help them reach their potential.
